I'm flailing about enthusiastically in the garden in the belief that plants really only need enthusiasm and sheep shit to be happy. I have a pet cat, who is without a doubt the soppiest animal on the planet, when he's not busy playing mighty hunter with small lizards and cockroaches. I like to cook and always order the things I can't pronounce at restaurants. I like it better if the menu isn't in English, though it is very disappointing to end up with fried rice using the "point at heiroglyphics on menu" method.
I'm spending most of my discretionary time on exerciseThe Avengersexercise Teen Wolf at the moment, which I'm enjoying immensely. It's nice to have the glimmerings of returning to my fit strong self obsessed fannish self, fit strong self obsessed, fannish self. It's also an effective way of beating back the blues, which are once again upsetting my equilibrium.
On Friending - I actually look at people's Info page to find out how they feel about friending when I'm thinking about friending, so on the offchance that you've mistaken me for someone witty - Friend away! No need to let me know that you are friending me. I friend to keep the interesting reading in one easily accessible place. I probably won't specifically notify you that I'm friending you, because I have no idea how to say "BTW - I'm friending you" without sounding completely gormless.
On Defriending - Defriend away! Though, if we speak fairly regularly, I would love to know why you're defriending - but no pressure. I very rarely defriend people, as I tend to lurk around and comment for a while before committing to you (unless numerous people I trust tell me you're cool and funny and you have at least one public post that's moderately amusing). If I do defriend, I probably won't mention it, because we probably have drifted apart in interests and haven't spoken for about a year anyway.
What this LJ contains - Stuff. A random mix of fannish-ness, things I found interesting, photography and stuff that I have done. I F-lock anything to do with my martial art, invites to gigs/shows/plays/parties, work anecdotes and any anecdote that is particularly embarrassing. And anything else I feel kind of sensitive about.
This journal does not contain fic, as I am maintaining that I am a not-writer, so I can happily continue to not-write.
